A 27-year-old Flint, Michigan native, Orlando is a graduate of Saginaw High School in Saginaw, MI and currently resides in Atlanta expanding his musical career and honing his craft.
Over the past 10 years he has developed to become a true professional, a saxophonist whose God-given talent and artistic flair are unparalleled. His muscial talents cover an expansive range from mainstream and contemporary jazz to R&B, Rock, Metal, Pop, Soul, and True Hip Hop. Because of this Orlando has received accolades from his peers, panel of judges and listening audience while participating in a variety of contests receiving multiple awards.
Orlando currently performs as a featured instrumentalist in theatrical plays, at musical concerts and recordings, social clubs, various fundraisers, party functions, on entertainment tour circuits, and he also plays as a solo artist headliner in concert engagements across the United States.
Orlando has been booked to share the same stage with known artists as Rizen and AyRon Lewis and the Nex Generation, Gregory Hines, Kim Burrell, Karen Clark and Kierra “KiKi” Sheard, John P. Kee, Fred Hammond, Kurt Carr, Kirk Franklin, Hezekiah Walker, Roberta Flack, Dougie Doug, Tony, Toni, Tone, Ready For The World, Rahsaan Patterson, Zhané, M.O.C.C.A., drummer Chris Coleman, guitarist James Owens, Tracy Shy (“Behind Closed Doors”, a stage play written by Bishop T.D. Jakes & Tyler Perry), Bill Cosby, Frank McComb, Darrin Henson & Laz Alonso (Stomp the Yard), Bern Nadette Stanis (“Good Times”), and also Tommy Ford and Bra Man (both from the sitcom “Martin”).
More notably, he has extensively toured throughout the country as a featured musical artist on Showtime at the Apollo; in the Rocky Horror Picture Show, the national stage play “In The Midst Of The Storm”, and show productions at the Atlanta, New Orleans Morial, New York, & Philadelphia Convention Centers; and also at the Orleans Hotel and Casino (Las Vegas, NV), the California Boat Spa Party, Harlows Jazz & Sweet Waters Clubs, Bridges Over The Water Supper Club, and Double Tree Hotel (Sacramento, CA), the Hilton Banquette Center (Oakland, CA), the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders National Football League benefit events, Club Jazids (South Beach Miami, FL), several national Alpha Kappa Alpha Fraternity Convention caucuses, numerous US Gospel Workshop of America seminars, the Midland Center for the Arts (Midland, MI), Floods & the Renaissance Hotel (Detroit, MI), and the “Take Back the City Crusade” outreach initiative (Flint, MI Ebenezer Ministries).
