"Herricane" Morales is an up and coming Hip-Hop/Rap Artist, Entertainer, Film Director & Entreprenuer who is crossing barriers with her rock infused lyrical storytelling that is changing the way Hip-Hop/Rap is perceived.
Born Christina Angelene Morales in March of 1988, she was the last of four children raised by a single mother struggling to make ends meet. At the age of four, "Herricane" was already rapping, taking her uncles cap and turning it backwards to rap in front of the mirror! Since her mother was deeply involved in the theatre during her formative years, "Herricane" was entrenched in the performance arts throughout her life. She received training as an actress under the guidance of Connie Norwood, one of Philadelphia's most respected and skilled African American female directors, as well as video production and editing under Immanuel Morales. Years later "Herricane" began taking her music seriously, winning many awards and performing throughout the tri-state area at various well known venues such as Warm Daddy's, Campbell's Field in New Jersey for the River Sharks, Club Flow, Eighth Floor as part of the Blue Funk monthly showcase, Temple University, Prince Music Theatre, North by Northwest, and Club Tregos.
As she is poised to set the Hip-Hop/Rap game on fire she remains grounded in her community and is always socially conscious, sensitive to the issues confronting us all.
Once you meet her and see her perform she is incredible, unforgettable, and you know why
"Herricane" Morales is an Elegant Storm!
